The Challenge

When Moroccanoil approached us in 2018 to promote their brand on Russian social networks, they suggested using the same content as in other regions. However, we recognized that this approach wouldn't resonate with the VK audience. Instead, we proposed a tailored strategy rooted in our deep understanding of local social media trends and audience preferences.
Case Studies
To quickly build an engaged community, we launched a contest featuring 10 watercolor illustrations in Moroccanoil's brand style. This creative approach allowed us to rapidly attract followers and foster high engagement.
  • Community launch: Mid-July
  • Contest period: August 1–22
Despite starting from scratch, we achieved impressive growth:
  • By August 1: 1,340 followers
  • By September 1: Over 4,000 followers
This campaign earned a Silver Award at the 2018 Tagline Awards for Best Community Management.
The Strategy
EXPANDING THE PRESENCE
Building on our VK success, we expanded Moroccanoil's digital footprint:
  • 2019: Launched Instagram account, gaining 20,000 followers within a year
  • 2023: Introduced a Telegram channel to further engage the audience
