In May 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, we were approached by the international clinic Medica 24 in Moscow with the task of launching SMM on Facebook and Instagram. The clinic has a Russian-Israel team of doctors, and uses the latest medical developments that have already saved thousands of lives. We developed a content strategy, created and published content, and launched a Facebook/Instagram advertising campaign targeting potential patients of the clinic.

The main focus of the campaign was on Moscow, but due to the advanced capabilities of the clinic, a significant portion of the leads were not from Moscow, but from the southern regions of Russia and the CIS countries.

This situation is typical for many high-tech private clinics around the world. Due to their capabilities, they become centers of attraction for patients from regions where access to the latest treatment methods is limited, or cancer patients have to wait in line and have no time.

CONTENT STRATEGY
To attract the audience’s attention, we developed a content strategy for Facebook&Instagram. In the posts, we talked about treatment at the clinic, about the doctors and their patients, and about events at the clinic.

Infographics and posts about doctors often generated many leads, especially if they were on a hot topic. For example, in 2020, COVID 2019 was a hot topic. Medica-24 Clinic launched such a service for cancer patients. After we published an infographic on Instagram on this topic, we immediately received appeals from potential patients.

Infographics about different types of cancer were also successful. The essence of our strategy was that in the content users could find ways to solve their problems.
